On Decwmber 4th, KOTRA held the 'K-Tech Partnership Day' at the Silicon Valley Trade Office in San Jose, Silicon Valley, USA, to support the export of tech companies. This event was organized to review the business performance of our small and medium-sized tech companies in the United States this year and explore new export opportunities for the future.

25 tech companies in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, semiconductors, and digital devices set up booths to explore export possibilities through consultations with local buyers.

Live pitch competition was conducted to introduce the technology of each company to investors. A total of 14 companies each presented for 3 minutes, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session with a panel of four advisers consisting of local investors.

Healthcare AI company 'Soundable Health,' which offers AI-based sound-analytics technology to analyze respiratory sounds with a smartphone to determine the severity of diseases, and 'FLOTEC,' which provides autonomous robot solutions for efficient operation in e-commerce logistics, received significant interest.

Approximately 200 people, including local investors, buyers, and corporate representatives, attended the event, demonstrating interest in South Korean tech companies.

During the presentations, venture capitalist Thomas Toy, who was one of the advisers, remarked, "Korean tech companies seem to possess high-level technology while continuously innovating." He added, "Through this event, I expect not only technology validation (PoC) but also opportunities for investment attraction.
