Pre-/Post- New BPH Surgery measured by proudP

As an increasing number of men with BPH choose Minimally Invasive Surgical Therapies (MIST) as a treatment option, proudP captures more patient-generated pre/post-operative real-world data (RWD) of those therapies.

The patient reportedly showed fast recovery and improvement within 2 weeks of the Aquablation therapy. The Peak Flow Rate (or Qmax) dramatically more than tripled from 6.6ml/s to 22.5ml/s and the IPSS score dropped from 19 points to 13 points as well. As seen in the uroflow curves below, the flow pattern (Left) showed delayed start more than 20 seconds and very weak stream before the procedure, and all of these had improved significantly afterward (Right).
We also noticed Voiding Time - less-noticed but greatly impacting on patients’ quality of life at every urination, shortened from 51.4 seconds to a third.
